1. What is a hidden fence system? DogWatch is a dog containment system that uses radio signals to keep an "eye" on your pet. 2. How does it work? A buried wire carries a harmless radio signal around a boundary that you designate. Your dog wears a small receiver on his collar that identifies the boundary and warns him when he gets too close. 3. How big an area will it cover? From a minimum of a quarter acre to a maximum of 25 acres. 4. Is it an electric fence? No! The system utilizes radio signals. The receiver collar does use electrical stimulation to warn your dog when he gets too close to the boundary, but it is safe for you and your family. 5. Will it hurt my dog? However, you may adjust the system to give a stronger warning by increasing the rate of the electrical stimulation.
